New Graphic Brings The Work Number® Service To Life
Many HR professionals know The Work Number® database is the largest income and employment verification service in the industry. However, it can be hard to appreciate exactly how 100 million+* annual verifications affect the day-to-day lives of employers and employees.
To showcase how Equifax helps remove the burden of verifications from employers, we developed a visual “ticker.” This graphic helps bring the true impact of The Work Number service to life. The Ticker premiered at the HR Technology Conference & Exposition last month and received a great response.
In fact, the visual quickly grabbed the attention of visitors. Throughout the event, the Ticker counted the number of HR department calls avoided that day through use of The Work Number database. The 300,000+* daily verifications shown on the Ticker represented 50 calls per day to each conference attendee. The screens also tracked the number of employees that Equifax helped during the day across three distinct categories:
- Qualifying for a new home loan
- Hoping to secure auto financing
- Requesting access to social service benefits
“Seeing the numbers continually count upward on The Work Number Ticker really drives home how many verifications Equifax handles each day,” said Shelli Worgess, Manager of Compensation at USG Corporation. “We’ve used The Work Number for years and the service saves our team a significant amount of time. So, watching the numbers flip by was pretty amazing to see.”
